My first reading ever took place in April of 2017, at the Cayce Festival of the Arts. I was terrified. The first page or so had me stumbling over the sentences. After that first page, I took a deep breath and focused on the story of Marion Wilson's Last Walk
Here I am reading Dreams of a Poor Child. This took place at a baseball field near my house and took eight or nine takes to get it right. This was more of an experiment than anything else.
On April 13th, 2018, my collection, Voices, was released by Stitched Smile Publications. During the release party, my good friend, Fran Friel and I had a conversation, not just about Voices, but writing and life in general.
